Trans needed
Can someone tell me the actual differences between this trans and the W56?? I have seen thread after thread but no pics or internal descriptions! I know the W56 has an addt'l bearing for the fifth gear support, but if the trans is going behind a 20R and later a 22RE then how necessary is it to have the W56??
BTW, how far is Dayton from Nashville(Tullahoma) area? How much for trans? Thanks--Richard. Kruzrtek kruzrtk@xmission.com |

Should be the same length, shifter location comes up in a different spot. W56 uses top-shifter t-case, where g52 mounts the shifter in the tail of the trans. W56 is beefier according to what I've been told. Anyway, I'm about 2 hrs away and will be in the area in the next week or two. How's $150 delivered?

Trans reply
I am in Utah right now, but I'll be there on the 1st of June.
If you still have it I contact you just before I leave and what's happening with it!! I would still need a t-case wouldn't I or will the early mini's style('79-'82) t-case bolt on? If you don't know let me know so I can search and find out or post it!!! Thanks...Richard Kruzrtek(I am a Cruiser tech, that's why I don't a lot about mini swapping.....yet!!) kruzrtk@xmission.com |
