Ranger
The Ranger II OD bolts up to a Ford V8. Advance Adapters has to custom machine a Ranger case to fit a 2F at all. They don't normally sell them this way. For that matter, the Ranger can be sent in and changed over to a Chevy pattern as well.
As far as trades go, right now I'm looking for a good condition 4 cylinder mini turbo 22re tranny (R151F) or would be interested in an adapter to mate a 4L60E to a minitruck transfer case. Thanks. |

I am very interested, however, I have some newbie questions before I pull the trigger. I am looking to put this between a Ford V-8 and a Ford transmission. This has a FJ bolt pattern for the transmission side, but would need to be sent back to AA to be converted to a Ford pattern, correct? Age and condition of unit, will you ship, and do you take paypal?
Thanks, Andy |

Ranger II O/D
I bought this setup for a project I sold and am cleaning out the garage. The guy I bought it from was a mechanic and stated it was in good condition. The Ranger shifter rod and Toy tfer shifter rod were torched off, but can be easily replaced. I think the AA shifter runs in the 20-30 dollar range when I checked into this or you could weld up one of your liking. The OD bolts to the Ford bellhousing and the Toy tranny/tfer combo bolts on behind it. As far as the tranny side I would check AA with questions regarding changing/machining the case. If it comes right down to it I will deliver it to a truck shipper for you following payment. Thanks!

I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from AA yet, but just doing some math tells me this will be almost as expensive as an NV4500 swap, especially since I don't need the trans or transfer case. Thanks for your time and good luck with the sale.
