Why didnt you say "I'll take it" in your first PM. Seemed like you were waiting for a shipping quote before you decided. If I've broken some mystical "pirates only" selling etiquette, I'm sorry for that, but I usually sell to the first guy that says (specifically) they "will take it".

I think it's sad that you don't respect the first one to post. I understand the business/money end of it. I, too, sell stuff here sometimes. Everybody gets their turn. I wouldn't have held you up on your sale. If I didn't want it I would tell you that. I needed the shipping quote to get the money into the PayPal account. If I would have told you that, would it have made a difference? I doubt it. You should have told the 2nd potential buyer that he/she needed to wait until you got an answer. jeeppartz even said himself that he was in line. Hopefully we all learn from this.

Yes, I would have definately held off any second and down buyers if you had plainly said I want it. Again, I am sorry for the confusion. I have had many people "very interested" ask me for a shipping price in the past on other stuff and after I give it to them, I never hear from then again. Want an example.

Hey man Get used to it.
Not everybody knows how to deal with people.
I got the same thing a couple of times so far.
I even had a case where I told the guy I am coming over with the Cherry picker and some guys and the money if the engine is like he described I pick up on the spot.
I get there and he says oh someone else offered me more... Well it's not worth getting upset, if it's not ment for you it's not.
I ended up getting a better deal, as always things happen when they need to happen.
But some people need to learn how to deal with people and stop trying to justify their mistakes with twisting your words.
