I have a SM420 i grabed the other week from the scrap yard. was gonna run it, but decided to stay with a auto. Needs a Front bearing retainter. Spines nice in very gear, Havent pulled the cover off yet. Not sure the story, but it had a very fresh coat of pain that the trans shop in reno used. And was with a pile of of 4 speeds. dont know if a trans shop scraped a bunch of stuff, or what. Might be rebuilt, might not be. Come look at it, pull the cover. $75obo, trades. Need SBC 4bbl intake, HEI, Flexplate, 700r4/np241 drivers drop combo, or anyparts that might interest me to swap that combo into a scout II.
Alta, ca, 45 miles from sac, about 75 from reno. Sorry, no way to ship, and not worth the hassle.
