Cummins 4BT/TH400 - still in bread truck

The motor has approx. 145K miles on it. I used it to move from Portland to Apple Valley, CA which is where it sits. It was packed full and towed a 22' flatbed trailer with a full size van on it with no problems. Slow, but no problems! I weighed it at 22K pounds which is quite a bit for a 4 cylinder.

It is ready to drive anywhere (might need a battery).

Great engine donor vehicle because the body is aluminum and worth $1500-$2000 in scrap.

It has 19.5 inch wheels with good rubber.

$3000 firm

Catch a cheap Southwest flight for $125 and then drive it home for about $475 in fuel.

Search for someone to haul their junk to help pay for fuel.

Do you still have this van? How many hours does it take to drive to Portland from where you are? Also, if you have it, what tranny does it have. Thanks

How do you know this? Your not the seller are you?

I hope your not assuming that, because most of them came with the TH465, not a TH400, and some of them came with a SM465. I am really hopingto find the SM465.

I am leaving Sacramento for Palm Springs tomorrow morning (01/01/10. If you provide a phone number and an address before tomorrow morning I would like to stop and look at the bread van.
