parting out '79 3/4ton suburban
SOLD!
350ci w/Thorley headers, Edelbrock intake/carb, mild build. TH400 mated to NP203(converted to part-time), all w/only about 5k miles. FF 14bolt rear & 10bolt front w/selectable hubs. Truck runs strong but won't pass smog in current condition. I can't keep it if I can't register it. It's gotta be gone before January, '09. Drivetrain would be awesome basis for a buggy or any type of build. I'll take $500 cash for the whole thing, but individual items will cost more since I'll be forced to dispose of the carcass if it gets parted out. Located in south Orange County. call 949-310-9527 or pm me. EDIT: should've stated before that the body is straight, but has such bad rust eating thru critical areas that it would not be worth fixing. Front clip appears to have minimal, if any, rust.

just edited original post. Front clip appears to be pretty good. The truck is still driveable and I'd like to sell as a whole to be parted out, since I've got nowhere to park it to dismantle it.

It's driveable, but you might want to have someone following you. 3 of the 4 wheels only have 4 wheel studs/lug nuts. The low beam headlights don't work, so it's high beam only. The power steering belt is a bit loose, but otherwise it's fine. I've driven it to work twice this week, & it runs & drives good.
