It was on the back of a clark 5 speed when I got it but from what I've found out the short shaft dana 300 is from 80-81 jeeps. miles unknown but it looks great. I will try and post a pic tomarrow. I do have paypal but I will hold off on your offer for now. I have it for sale local too and I might have someone that will pay full price.

I'll have to do a little research on the Clark fitment (bolt pattern and the like). I've never heard of that transmission...Anyway, it'll need to bolt to a 700R4 for my application. I'm stationed overseas until next month, so I've got a little time. If I can have someone local to you come check it out on my behalf, can you meet up? I'll see what I can come up with...

it is a standard 23 spline with a round pattern. the clark has a adapter on the back for the dana 300. If you want someone to come look at if feel free. here is a pic of it on the back of the clark. first come first served...

Out of curiosity, what does that transmission bolt to?

sorry but I have someone local that will pay the $200.... hes just waiting for payday. first come first serve though. $280 and it will be to your door.

the tranny was bolted to a 2 1/2 ton chevy but how has a IH bellhousing and input. but I have an adapter to go from the IH bellhousing to a caddy 472 or 500.....
