I have an 02 Escalade LQ9 with 77000 miles, complete motor, has water pump and crank pulley but no other accessories.

Stock intake, oil pan. Also have the stock headers if wanted. FBW Throttlebody.

Also have a TH350 that I recently tore down to change the output shaft to a Novak 23 spline shorty output shaft with the novak adapter for NP/Atlas 6 bolt style. A Jeep Atlas should bolt right up. Replaced a few clutches that were worn and reassembled. Left the valve body out, was going to replace with a TCI Full Manual but never got around to it. The stock VB is yours if you want it. Also has a stock speed torque converter. Order the $60 flywheel from gm parts and it will all work behind this motor.

No harness or ECM, bare motor.

Ran when pulled, came with a 3 month warranty from the junkyard but that's since expired.

ECUs $50-$100

Harness used from the Ls1 board that will still need someone to thin for ya...

about $100-ish

I was thinking of a 7 wire aftermarket computer just for buggies?

The motor is as stated, a 2002 LQ9 out of a Cadillac Escalade. It still is completely stock with the FBW throttle body and truck intake (same as a LQ4)

I was going to get my harness and ECU tuned by Twisted Customs, however I was not going to use their fuel system. A good BRAND NEW custom harness for the motor with a 4 wire hookup and using a stock ECU (reprogramming can run up to a few hundred $$$) is about $700.

Jeremy is going to take a stock harness and send it to jimsperformance.com I believe to get the work done, and ecu programmed. They come highly rated.

Also the TH350 has a Novak Adapters short output shaft 23 spline, the one that is meant to go to a 23 spline NP231.

Jeremy is also going to do the exact same thing I was with his setup, and he has probably put bit more research into the cost.

I haven't no, but I'm sure it's as good as the last 4 or 5 motors I have gotten from the same yard. I believe they do run it and compression test it before it leaves.
