4500 to 205 (tailhousing ang T-case)
I have a nv4500 tail housing mated to a 205. It has all 32 spl ins and outs with modified shift rails, twin stick shifters and bracket to mount shifters. Clears the floor without any mods. New bearings, seals, and gaskets. Have maybe 500 miles on it less than a year in my tow truck. NO YOKES INCLUDED.
I'm in La Crescenta, Ca near Pasadena. I go down to San Diego weekly so I can meet up. It will bolt up to any nv4500 with a Chevy 4x4 (32spl) output shaft. Looking for a complete Chevy D60 for trade. or $650. Custom box HaHa Last edited by K5runner@hotmail.com; 04-24-2010 at 08:04 PM. |

ive got a 2wd dodge 4500 and im looking for the dodge 29 spline input 205. i havent changed my mainshaft or tail housing. if i got a 32 spline mainshaft instead of a 29 spline, would this case work? i see you are doing a 4500/205 as well behind a cummins. what are you doing for your 205? do you have a dodge 29 spline lined up?

Yes and No.
Yes, If you swap out your main shaft it WILL work, without a doubt. I ran that exact setup in my truck. No, I don't have a 29 spl lined up for me, I'm using the same tranny (that's why the tranny's not for sale) but with a FORD 205. I put a short 32 spl in the ford case and made my mods to the tail housing Twin stick, all 32's, Bla, Bla. I pretty much have two of the exactly the same tail-housing/t-cases. One is a ford (Drivers drop) and the other (the one for sale) a Chevy (Pass drop) Hit me up lets make a deal
