Big block Chevys, 454 cu in.
i have a couple of big block chevrolets that i am not sure i have a use for and have been sitting in my garage in the way.
First is 1986. came from a k30 i bought for the 60 and 14er. it was in my m715 for 6-8 months till i decided to go TBI and found another complete 454 from a donor. right now the engine has no distributor and no carb on it, but i still have both. it ran fine and carried good oil pressure. no knocks or funny noises. has no manifolds on it. the front brackets are all there as well as accesories. it is greasy and leaks oil from the rear main and a few other spots i am sure.
the other is a a early 90s one piece rear main genV shortblock. has factory bore that is in very good shape and has the stock GM bottom end. brand new speed pro ~9.8:1 hypereutectics with a 105cc head. cleaned and painted, ready for the valvetrain and heads of your choice. has been under an engine bag since it was put together and i wipe the bare metal down with oil every month or so.
i can post or email pics of either engine to interested parties. both are in my garage in Bayfield CO 15 miles east of durango. i can help haul them within a reasonable distance from here and i am more than willing to palletize and ship at the expense of the buyer.
