expedition trailer

Hey everybody I am heading off to Tennessee in a little while to go to school. And I didnt want to shove everything in my truck so I figured I oughta pull a little trailer. And of course I dont wanna buy one so I am gonna build a little expedition style trailer.

So the plans are..
-clean and shorten the frame
-get or build a wider axle and get some leaf springs
-get some 31s with 5 on 4.5" rims
-put a hitch onto the rear of the frame
-build a box for it with a lid
-put some lights into the rear of the frame
-make jerry can mounts
-make an ice chest mount
-make a spare tire mount
-and most likely put a pintle hitch onto it

This will most likely be a long build but here is the start
I am using the frame of an old boat trailer I found in my grandpas back yard last registered in 1972

Any progress?

I am thinking of building something similar to what you are building, on my old pickup truck frame trailer.
