Net control will be Tim - KG6WFV Topic is: Special Guest Speakers Miguel Miller, NWS Forecaster and Jim Courter, SW Skywarn Regional Coordinator! Miguel and Jim will give an overview of weather spotting for the National Weather Service and Skywarn, weather spotters on ham radio. Miguel Miller is a forecaster and the spotter coordinator for the National Weather Service office in San Diego, CA. Jim Courter is the Regional Coordinator for Southwest CA Regional Skywarn, a volunteer organization that supports the National Weather Service Forecast Office in San Diego, CA with weather spotting, often using amateur radio. The net will originate from the amateur radio station located inside the NWS Forecast Office in San Diego, CA. Please sign up below! As usual, We need others to take the net control spot, and to suggest topics. Any volunteers?

You're fortunate to have an node in your area - #4950, freq of 147.180, PL tone of 100.0, and doesn't get used much! You might wish to check with the node owner to see if they allow reflector connections. Here's the posted details: Quote:
