Shady Boy sunshade
Anyone have any experence with this product? www.shadyboy.com
I'm looking at this: http://www.shadyboy.com/vans/ for my 4runner. I like the fact it isn't too long and can be put inside for storage if need be. I've tried calling and emailing them but have gotten no response. Is the compay still around? How much do these cost?

Looks like an overly expensive and complicated way to put a tarp on the side of a vehicle. I think I'll stick with my canvas and tent poles.

all i've heard about them is good things. I assume you're talking about the one that fits inside the aluminium case and uses extendable arms to hold it, right?
only thing hard-core campers usually add are poles at the ends of the arms with guylines, and this is only in VERY strong winds. |
