apollo roof top camper

I was lucky enough to score one of these f/g roof top campers from a distributor in Sydney.
Lucky because it was the last one and he wasnt getting in any more.
Its much the same as the Maggiolena and Hannibal types but made in China and less than half the price of the others(about $1000USD).
Quality is ok except for the tie down clips that keep it closed but they can be replaced with better quality makes.
I mounted it on top of these frames after removing the canvass that was there before.
The old canvass tent was a mansion compared to the Apollo camper but I need more room for tyres, table and chairs which can be stowed underneath at the right height for my back.
I really only want it for overnight stays on the road. Im getting an Oztent RV for longer stays

This is the canvass tent thing I had before,no trouble selling it.

Yeah, Im thinking Perth to Uluru(ayers rock) to Alice Springs to Darwin via Great Central Road.
GCR is part of the Gunbarrel hwy at the eastern end near the NT border.
I went out that way 2 years ago this month and been itching to go back again but I havent been to Darwin yet.
Probably come home via the coastal hwy and Gibb River Road through Broome .
Gibb River Road is about 600klms of washboard and reputedly very scenic
Im guessing about 7000klm + side trips
