Did anyone from this forum make it to the Overland Expo (http:ovexpo.com) in Prescott, AZ this last weekend?

I was there from about 9am to 1pm on Sat. Let me tell you, LOTS of drool worthyness!

I was there about the same time spam, then we went on a nice little 4x4 run north east of Prescott. I was real impressed by this foward control Rover that was out in the parking lot.

are those flippac's on the ranger and the jeep, or is someone else making a pop up canopy now - they look great, i just havent found any options other than the flippac and the no longer made wildernest.

yep, the green one was there as well as the the white "overland" 4-door JK. They were nice, but compaired the rest of the attendees, they were blah..

Hear you go, talked to the AEV guy and it sounded like $45,000 - $50,000 and it could be yours.

See the things on the front wheels that look like dog dishes.
I have not seen those in years. I rember in the 70's they were sold
in 4x4 magazines. They were a poor mans winch. A rope would
wind around it pulling you thru. Cool..

Someone has started reselling these wheel winches in oz but with the prices of winches dropping ,why bother.

Actually those are steps to get into the cab, you see them on Mog's and Pinzgauer's also.

Speaking of which...
I just got the Overland Journal with the story on the Expo and saw mention of the price of admission, but no dollar figure.
How much was it anyways? And did it cover the whole weekend or was there a daily cost?
