I do not really get the scoop and snorkel thing. It looks like the snorkel goes to the turbocharger.... but then there is a scoop that feeds into a paper element into what?

I guess it is a cool idea that they are going for... but I have my own preferences and it is just cheaper and nicer to build it myself and have it my own way.

If you have the cash, it can make a pretty decent start for an overland rig. But also, for that much you could just buy a jeep or a taco and get all the bolt-ons you want to build something like or much better than that.

That is the same platform as a Mitsubishi Montero Sport that we got in the States for a few years. Great vehicles.

The snorkle goes to the air intake for the engine and the scoop is cooling air for the intercooler. Never actually enters the air stream to the engine. Take a look at a subaru WRK the scoop on the hood is for the same purpose. It keeps the intercooler out of the front bumper and away from sticks and rocks and crunching it driving it into other vehicle.s

yea, its a bit pricey but look at the new jeeps coming out, some of them are $$. if i was in a market for a new truck, and could get it in the states for a price of a tuck here, i would get that one. just because no one has them. yes for the money you could get decent old truck and pimp it out to your likeing.

Vehicles in Brazil are super expensive.
I told my friend that I drove a Cherokee and he thought I won the lottery or something.
The middle class in Brazil makes much less money that North Americans, and their vehicles are MUCH more expensive. But they have a MASSIVE VW plant there, and those are fairly inexpensive, so everyone drives them.

I agree, why would they not sell it here? The Savana is a really cool truck. Perfect for offroading and trekking.
