neatl but I do not see anything on actually buying one.

Looks like basically an activated charcoal filter that adds some iodine for sterilization. Isnt that kinda the same thing that you can go to Wally World and get for motorhome use?... +bag

dunno about buying one and i doubt the filter you get at wally world will treat ten thousand liters of water at they level they are talking about. Its make by a company called Water Security International or something like that, so it seems to be pretty high end shit..

Not sure how long the commonly avaialable filter will last but it might be cheaper per gallon. Plus it is nice that it is available.

Company name does not mean shit. Just cause they call themselves whatever... does not mean they are the best.

I am not saying it sucks just that it does not look like some breaking developement, just a little different packaging. If priced reasonably, it might be worth having a couple.

Water filtration?

Best bet is to dig deep $$$ for a Katadine Expedition filtration system its filters last the longest.

Don't have deep pockets? Then there are many good siphon type units that will do a good job too but beware what it can/can't filter out then know what health you might be in? Like, are you allergic to iodine?

Home and commercial water filtration units can be fitted into an expedition vehicle and can be setup to filter all but the BS that comes from just about everywhere these days.
