Total newbie question on Toterhome Water pressure

Plumbing 101:
Had a quick question about water pressure in RVs and/or Toterhomes. I see most of the water tanks are mounted as close to ground as possible . So how to push water up to sink and shower? what kind of systems are installed to get this to work.

Edit: before we go further, I want to know if these systems are pressurized or …..

Thanks, That means pump should be running (or be ready on demand) 24x7? are these electric pumps connected to battery or gas run? Do you have any link where they sell them for RVs?

It works somewhat like the pressure switch on an air compressor. When you open a faucet, the pressure drops and the pump comes on.

So when you aren't using the RV, you turn power to the pump off. But when you are going to want water, the pump will be on and ready.

...that being said, most RV plumbing systems are designed to be able to be hooked up to 'city' water + higher pressures. I have a 25 PSI regulator I use on mine, but it is capable of not leaking at 65 PSI or so.
