Honestly I'd keep going with the tube and make it an exo. Looks killer.

Idea for the filler neck, cut a hole and run it strait up into the tool box. That way you can lock the box and help keep assholes from stealing your gas. Just a thought since it's happened to me.

When the shit gets real, the bedsides on my truck can be removed with 4 bolts per side, literally a 5 minute job. There will be some more tube added to mine when I get time. I like the bedsides Jordan!

well got three of the four headlocks mounted, what. a. nightmare.
after getting the first one mounted and filled i herd the worst.. ssssssssssssss.. dammit! there was a leak pulled everything off and found the pin hole son of a bitch! welded and were good, but good thing i check the other cause one rim had a few pin holes bubbling. here was the headlocks through the steps ![]() ![]() i used washers all around to line up the ring as best i could. ![]() after tacking a welded stitches in a criss-cross pattern ![]() ![]() ![]() the first weld only filled about 80% of the valley so i had to do another lapgo fuck yourself nik (procircuit) grinding a way! thanks man.. ![]() man they look so cool. but I'm nervous about how they are going to drive.. i tired my best to line up the tire but i have a bad feeling they are going to wobble more pics to come..

grinded and painted primed and painted whiteand then the fun part... mounting.. fuck. done (but then had to pull for leak ) haha here is a photo of that little bastard, i used oil around the top of the ring and a air gun under blowing up to see bubbles and found it,drilled and filled and no leaks, for now .... i torqued them to about 17fps.. conned them a little more than liked but it should be okay, i should have made a filler for the inside of the lip but will see how bad it is..

I like it! I always thought that the whole point in tubing the rear was so you could chop the frame behind the cab, link it and have a better departure angle because you don't have to mess with a rear hanger and the extra length.
Def bad azz though!

This thing is sick...and I LOVE the bedsides. Yeah the tubework is awesome, but it still resembles an old ford with the bedsides on. I love me some old fords!
