i have a dana 60 rear axle out of 03 ford e350 that has a speedo gear between the ring gear and the carrier. stock carrier is for 410 gears. im upgrading to 513s and a spool. the speado gear is no use to me so my question is do i need to reuse the gear on the new spool or can i get away with out useing it? please help because its the last thing holding me up from putting it into my jeep thanks

The tone ring? Iirc you can leave it off if you want.
