Glowshift gauges
Anyone try these? They seem cheap. Suggestions on better ones?

Ive hear of a lot of failures on all the electronic ones, which is pretty much everything but boost. Suggestions for better ones? Autometer and don't look back.

Some people like them some don't. I have the 3-1 setup in my Mercedes and the boost, trans temp ones seem to be accurate but the pyro just doesn't seem right to me.
FYI the glow shift gauges are all electronic. Including the boost.

Weird, wonder how they run the current through vacuum tubing.

I usually just get mine through Summit Racing, I believe they price match too. Not the cheapest gauges, but the best IMO

Some guys swear by them over on powerstrokenation, others can't stand them. I was going to do one in my truck but the light can not be dimmed so I skipped it.

gauges
If their gauges are anything like their pillar mounts... you definitely get what you pay for... not much.
On a related note... has anyone had issues with the Banks Dynafact gauges, more specifically the boost gauge? I just put them in and it maxes out at 6 psi on my '00 PSD. My local mechanic thought there might be a leak and smoke tested it, but found nothing, nor am I lacking power. Bad gauge? Thoughts/solutions? Thanks. |
