difference gear ratios?
ok my roomate was trying to tell me that ford purposely put different gear ratios in some of there 4xs so that the front would pull you to keep traction ... i called BS but just wanted to check before i told him he was full of it

With the exception of running like 4.10s and 4.09s...Otherwise that's BS all the way.
There is a certian percentage of differance that is tolerable, but not much. Now, I'm fairly sure that it is done by some mud runners, but not factory option though. Last edited by Groundhawg; 04-29-2003 at 04:56 AM. |
