ok my roomate was trying to tell me that ford purposely put different gear ratios in some of there 4xs so that the front would pull you to keep traction ... i called BS but just wanted to check before i told him he was full of it

With the exception of running like 4.10s and 4.09s...Otherwise that's BS all the way.

There is a certian percentage of differance that is tolerable, but not much.

Now, I'm fairly sure that it is done by some mud runners, but not factory option though.
