Go to any car lot and look under the hood of vehicles just like yours. Find one with air conditioning. That's what the bracket's look like. Take a picture. Develope the picture and head for the wrecking yard. Or better yet, go to the wrecking yard FIRST and find one with an engine like yours and pull off the parts you need.

http://soderblom.net/bronco/tech/york/ and here for a better shot of the bracket: http://soderblom.net/bronco/tech/largealt/ Here's mine, same deal: My factory a/c still blows cold Dont' bother trying to use the stock Ford compressor anyway, it gets FAWKING hot when used for OBA purposes. Sorry, I don't have better pics of the brackets. Some time spent with some scrap and a welder will get you there. Good luck.

I got the broncoair bracket and love it. I also payed less than that since I got one of his first kits that had been used for test fitting. at the time he wasent sellign the pulley seperate and he was hte only one to make it so I got the kit otherwise I probaly would have bought the pulley them built a bracket. I can get you pics of the bracket if you like. I like the york sitting on this side better than the saborforce design on the other side of the engine. just seems to fit in the space better without having to relocate all the emissions junk

Tensioning the belt is more straight-forward and the York is just more easily accessible and serviceable overall.I really want Chris to do well but the Sabreforce design is superior IMO. I don't think Jim ever patented anything.....Chris should consider copying the Sabreforce design IMO..... but it won't work with newer motors with side-bolt alts.

Shoot just keep the stock 5.0 comp and run it. I had the york on my last 5.0 set up and this time I wanted to try the stock comp and it kicks but and puts out more that mine or my buddys york! And it is alot easier to install, ford took care of this for ya!
