T19 specs and Jeep T18 swap
Hi,
I'm unclear. I was told by a local tranny mechanic that I could use the inner working from a Ford T18 and swap them into a Jeep T18. This way it would be a direct bolt up to my 74 Jeep w/ 304 (of course I wouldn't change the input and output shaft). So I stumbled onto a T19. Is this tranny better? I know it has synchros for 1st - 4th but isnt' the low range worse?????? Devin |
