i am giving it away because i got a '93 block set up for a roller cam for free this block is i believe a 1980 truck block but i don't know how to id it as i am diehard chevy so if you or anyone gives info i will look for casting numbers the block is in great shape may need to clean up cyl. wall as light rust but only light and i do oil the block occasionally to combat this it has not been overbored just cleaned up i believe...and it is free also have all parts and accesories including 2 1/2 kits of the march brackets of which i am only using one set will sell extra parts dirt cheap if anyone wants but there are no strings attached for the motor however i would want a handling charge to ship as it will be a pain in the ass to do so.

Assuming none of the individuals above take the block, how soon do you want to get rid of it??

Let me know if they no longer want it or are willing to have it shipped. I'm still interested also. I could be there Thurs. 11/01

i would like someone to pick it up but if i don't get any responses i will check out what needs to be done to crate it up to be shipped i would do this if it is not too much hassle and would only want money for basic labor to do this plus shipping of course.

I'd rather wait and see if BRS wants it shipped, since I don't want to undercut anyone and he beat me to it.

But, I'd be more than happy to come pick it up.

i have only posted this on this board but i do want a local pick up as shipping will be a pain right now i am unemployed and do not have a running vehicle and to get my trucks running i need space so thats the dilema so i don't know if i will even be able to ship unless i call someone to pick it up and ship it which will cost cash and time i will need to crate it myself and i cant do that before i get a running vehicle so please someone pick it up i am even considering paying someone to pick it up but like i said it is a good block!
nobody has emailed me a phone number yet so i don't have any takers as i see it if someone gets me a number and i time to call i will call if thats a problem email me for my home number and you can call me...this is my situation i need to get rid of it asap there is no list now if someone wants i will hold it for them for a short time and see if it gets picked up but i need this engine gone and would like to get it into the hands of someone who wheels...if anyone can help i would appreciate it.
