you may need a ford input shaft. and possibly a spacer...

well its a c-6 i checked trans kit at shucks to see pan shapes from the gaskets....
so all i need to know is will the 205 chevy got to a c-6? or any idea where i can compare the 205 gaskets or spline counts? if the 205 to adapter is symetrical then it bolts to that adapter the same no matter what side drop.. and then if the splines are same count then it should work with the ford adapter???

It's most likely a C6 and an NP208. Or, didn't they also put the AOD behind the 302s
Alpo would probably know.

i am putting a 302 in a 1990 4 runner... so trying to figure out the the cheapest or best way to do do it.. it needs a passenger side drop i want to use and auto trans... but i think the best way now i just get an adapter to use stock toy trans and keep the manual....
info i have found is that the chevy th 350 205 t case needs a ford spline input shaft for sure and not sure if the adapters will still bolt straight up.. i looks like it from the pics i have seen... thoughts now are by the time i buy trans and rebuild the 205 and have drive lines made its going to be more expensive then jsut adapting the 302 to the toy tranny and i will increase weight and lose some low range in the process and have alot more custom work to boot...
