I have an opertunity to buy a 1977 Ford van with a running 351 and what I think is a C6 tranny. My questions are:
Am I right about the tranny? It's got a d60 rear. Any chance that it is 35 spline? Is there a stroker version of a 351 that I could build that is similar to putting a Chevy 400 crank into a Chevy 350 block? How long is a C6? Are adapters sold to mount my d300 t-case to the back of a 2wd C6? Thanks. J. J.

Yes its most likely a C6
yes thier are stroker kits, Summit sells them along with www.fordracing.com 35 spline 60? not likely, unless it was a heavy duty van, like an ambulance or something adapter? dunno, why not just stick a NP205 behind it?

Is the stroker kit as simple as the 383 stroker is? I build my own engines and was planning on a 383 until I ran into this good deal. I want to keep my d300 t-case because I want to put a 4:1 kit in it and clock it. It's a good case and being that the tranny is 2wd, I'll probably need an adapter to put a np205 behind it anyway.
So, finally, Advance Adapters and Novak don't list the adapter. Does anyone make them? J. J.
