Which alternator touse for welder
I want to put an onboard welder in my rig, but I don't know what alternator to run for it. I've done a search and read the write-ups, but none of them mention the specific Ford alternator. Will a large case 90A work, or do I need something more along the lines of a 130A 3G alternator.
I figure the 90A would do fine, but I don't want to go through the trouble and expense to find that it is too small.

this guys website tells you which alternator to use as well as the step by step procedures for making your own. I think it even tells you all the parts you need.
