33 spline EB 9" shafts?
I searched but didn't really find this covered, which is suprising. I want to upgrade my 9" with has the stock 28 spline shafts. It has the big bearrings. I've read that 35 spline requires a new 3rd and spool because the bearrings aren't large enough. Stop me if I'm wrong so far. So I was thinking of 33 spline with matching full spool. Would this allow me to use my stock 3rd member? The shafts are the same price for 28, 31, 33, or 35. This was in summit for Moser shafts. Thanks for any help.

Mark Williams also makes a 33 spline shafts and spool to work with the stock carrier.

You might be able to buy them from Moser for a bit less money. I know a few guys that have them and one of them has busted two third members, nothing to do with the shafts just some food for thought because a 9" is strong but big meats, low gears and the go pedal can cause issues.
Other than the posible 9" not strong enough, the shafts are plenty strong IMO. HTH
