Doess any one else have a problem with your fullsize truck twisting when you stuff opposite tire one front tire.
My cab and box have a knock down drag out fight with each other. And the cab always loses. My frame isn't cracked (that i am aware of) I even add some f150 frameing to help. Bolted them back to back. _____ _____ \ / || || f150 ||f250 || || _____/ \_____

This is where all of the older Ford trucks get their flex from. Doesnt seem to crack the frames or anything.

Just an idea, loosen all the body mount bolts and try to pull the cab and box as far apart as possible, and then re-tighten the bolts to torque specs. I don't know if this will work. The ford frames would have to be some of the flexiest ever made, but it can be a hinderance, what about boxing the frame to help stiffen it up, or a couple more cross members!

Never had much frame flex myself... but the Supercab frames are hella beefy...

Hey Guys,
This is my first post on you page, this whole twisty frame issue is of great interst to me. I have a 95' f150 short bed 4" of lift and add-a-leafs in the rear. When it gets twisted the tail gate wrinkles, like an oil can dent. When I am wheel'n I usually hear a pop when I untwist and pull a rear wheel off the ground. I was going to take off the tail gate but thought I would then loosen up the bed rails. Any ideas on what I should do? Im starting to notice some stress cracks in some of the tail gate and bed rail seams. This is a great sight guys. All the frame flex on my dodge ripped the front fenders (they don;t bolt together straight anymore) Ripped up the cab, to the point of there were stress cracks, and the whole underside was ripped apart (i had to buy a new cab) and the bed is cracked. Oh, and also the cab was dented from the bed. This was all before a frame up rebuild (needed from 10 years of hard wheeling) and the only cracks I found on the frame were from the shock mounts. I plan on putting valve springs on my body mounts in order to help the cab and clip not twst as much when the frame flexes.. should help it last longer. I aslo fabbed up a single front body mount, that is just like a pivit now. Works better than stock, but on the down side the whole front clip is tilted to the drivers side (where the battery is). Oh well. Just some of the fun of having a full size wheeling truck.
