Here is the deal, A very good friend died on Sept 21st of several strokes. He has left his wife and one daughter behind and now they are faced with having to sell his 73EB. His wife called me today and wanted to know a good price for it and if I was interested in buying it. I would very much like to buy it but I would like some outside in put on pricing.

It has a 351 w/chevy TBI @ apx 425hp - NV4500- Atlas 4.3
Dana 44 w/disk and Detroit- Rear curry 9" 35 spline Detroit- 4.56 gears. Ramsey 9500 winch- front and rear bumpers are fully loaded Hansen enterprises w/ tire and gas can rack- custom built rubicon rack and a regular 6pt cage. Honda prelude seats and average sterio and CB. custom front and read shock hoops front w/ 3 per side R9000 and two per side rear. 35" new style Goodyear muds and bajaII style alum rims (and spair) Needs new skin on soft top and has a good bikini top- door inserts and good paint but was keyed all over. Well that about does it and any help would ge graet for all involved.

~$8-10K would probably be fair, assuming the drivetrain is all in good shape - which it sounds like it probably is. I have seen a couple of rigs very simalr sell for ~$20k+ though too....

Sorry to hear about your friend <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> If the EB you described is as nice as it sounds I would guess it's worth $10-$13k. Good luck!

I agree with most of these guys, 47500 would be the very bottom end. I've seen a few people having trouble getting rid of already built rigs though. I'd say the parts could be worth more than the whole. Good luck it sounds like a fun rig.

I wouldnt pay over 8,000 dollars for a built Bronco, there are always some real nice Broncos in the truck trader for about 6-8,000 Good luck whatever you do with it.

That is a VERY SWEET EB! The resale of the parts alone add up to more than $10,000.

The EB itself may be worth $4000. Then add $1500 for the motor, $1500 for the tranny conversion, $1500 for the Atlas, $600 for the winch, $750 for Detroit/Disk, $1500 for Rear 9" setup, $1000 for the Hansen bumpers, $12,350 Minimum!
I bet she has over $20,000 in receipts. Tell her to fix the paint, and sell it through the autotrader.

Got any pics?

My friend had over $30,000 in recipts and that is only for what is on the bronco right now and it also comes with a soft top in box ,extra hansen rear bumper(not a wrap around) mile marker winch 9000(to slow for him so replaced) spair front axels -adapter for dana 20 to nv4500 and a garage full of other stuff. Oh and just the motor was 10K yeh I know way to much for the rocks but when he had the motor built it was joing for sand, then he met me!

So are you gonna buy it from your friends wife or give her a price that she should sell it for? Put a price of 15K on the rig, i would think that would be reasonable.
