P1670 Diagnostic Code----What's it mean??? - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

Just pulled a P1670 Diagnostic code. Table of codes says "EF signal not detected". Does anyone know what that means or where I can look up more
info on it? This is off a 2001 F350 Powerstroke diesel.

it means there's faulty circuit between the pcm and the idm (injector driver module). you'll have to check the resistance of the wires between the idm and the pcm. wiggle the wires while checking and check for spike in v or open.
