Electronic 1356 problems

A buddy and i are having major problems w/ the 4x4 on his fullsize TTB bronco. The t case had 4 wheel high for about week, but no low range. now we've lost 4 wheel high too. Switch is good. Assuming the motor is good since it worked last week and hasn't been wheeled since. We are looking at the computer control box under the pass. kick panel. Anybody know what the little red light and ?reset? button does? What else should we check? Gonna swap the case out eventully when we do the SAS but gotta make this work for now.

I had the triangular shaft that goes into the shift motor break before and the t-case was stuck in Nuetrel(sp) The shaft would just spin freelly.

Work your way from the case to the switch. Pull the motor and turn the shaft by hand to be sure you have all selections. While the motor is out, pull it apart and clean it. It's a common problem for the contacts to get dirty and weird out or completely stop working.

Go to a junkyard buy a manual for $125-150 and be done with it.
