Does any one know if the tail housing off the stock three speed will fit to the np435? I heard some one say that u could just switch the bushings on it and it will bolt up.

nope they don't interchange there is kits that use the 6cyl adapter with custom spacer to adapt also several companies make full new adapters you will need the 2wd version of the 435 with a 28 spline out put I beleive

They are probably talking about a toploader 4 speed- in which case you can. The NP 435 requires its own adapter. Lots of places carry them:
