i need help!!!
my truck ('96 f150 5 spd) has been leaking hydrolic fluid for a couple days and i took it to the shop and they said i need a new slave cylinder and of course i have an internal slave. i've never really done anything with a transmition before and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get some kind of instruction on this or if someone lives near roanoke, va maybe you can help me out. i can't afford the $$$ the shop wants to charge so i really have no choice but to do it myself. thanks

If you feel capable enough to pull a tranny I say do it yourself. Its not hard at all. If your truck has close or over 100,000 miles I'd replace the clutch and slave. The hardest part is bleeding the slave cylinder.
