does anyone know if a early bronco knuckle will fit a 78 bronco hp44

Do you know what year of early bronco this knuckle is? I think a couple years were D30 front, and even that knuckle might fit but you couldn't fit a D44 stub shaft in it. Then there's the drum brake D44 knuckles with 6 holes for the spindle. They fit, I'm sure Mr.N could nail it down for you with specifics if he got that D60 out of that pickup bed.

they are 5 hole

the knuckles have 5 holes just like the 78 axle ang its out of an early 44

early bronco D44 knuckles will fit and you can use the same outer shafts.
The D30 will not fit and hp44 axle
I swapped in 79 bronco D44 knuckles onto my early bronco D44 for disk brakes

I thought they used 6 hole knuckles, which is why you can use small bearing chevy spindles for a cheap disc conversion on them?

Early Bronco drum brake spindles are 6 bolt and early Bronc disc brake spindles are 5 bolt either will interchange with hp 44 as long as its eb44 not eb30
