who can remember this swap
hello im looking for posts that anyone has left on swapping ifs axles to solid axles. i have an 88 f-150 and i want swap to either 3/4 ton or 1 ton axles. anyone out there remember someone who has done this or remember a post of someone doing it?

88 F-150's don't have IFS, they have TTB (I know, I know, what's in a name. In this case, a lot.). Search on TTB and SAS and you'll find more info than you can use. This thread on FSB will give you a BIG head start.

What exactly are ya wanting to know.....If its leaf sprung it should be pretty much a bolt on. It can be a little more involved if ya want to do a shackle reversal too.....But still not brain surgery. Only prob. I see is the TTB crossmember if you don't have some lift already........ Ask .....Someone will help ya

hey thanks alot, lots and lots of great reading, i currently have 6 inch suspension lift with a 3inch body. well its back to reading for me, thanks again
