aluminum rad. what are you using

post up you engine displacement and rad dimensions and what manufacturer/price ya got it for

i'm pricing out a rad for my junk so far the best bang/buck seems to be AFCO @$369.95

I bought a Griffin from summit for $180. 27.5x15. Griffen says its good to 400HP

tru cool from speedway. think it was about 160. not sure of the dimensions, but its a two core. keeps my 302 at about 180 or so in my ranger.

i have the summit two core with 1.5 inch rows like psoted above for 180, witha 460, and with the anemic e-fan(11 inch flexalite) it still overheats, going to taurus or caddie fans next.

only thing i didnt like about this radiator is it didnt come with stock mounting brackets.

Shit, you'd have been better off going with a stock BB rad, they are 3&4 core, you almost don't need a fan, and bolt right in...........what were ya thinkin ?

Probably thinkin that that BB rad is some major bucks and the shroud for it isn't cheap either (that 2 core also has more surface area across the cores than a 4 core does). I have that summit rad with an 80's F350 shroud and stock non clutch fan. Does not run as cool as my 400 (which ran dead nuts @ 180), but it only hits 190 @ idle and drops to 180 at anything off idle.
