Question EB D44 or D60?

I currently have a D44 with 30 spline axles and I'm considering building a D60 to replace it. I think most D60 fronts are also 30 spline. Will I gain enough in the strength dept to justify the cost of the 60? If so, what doner rig should I be looking for?

I'm currently running 36" SX's but have plans for 37-38.5's in the near future.

Thanks in advance for your help <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

almost eveyone i have talked to said the 78-79 250's are the best, the lete modle (80-90's) 60's leave very little room for the C bushing mount,
I think if i can't find a killer deal i will go to Dynatrac or Redline to get my 60

Almost all front D60's have 35 spline inners...it's the stub shaft that's 30 spline.

If your not sure if you need a 60 then I would say you don't. Why spend the extra money if your not breaking your 44 often.
