Question What is the Best suspension lift for F150 2wd?

Looking to raise my sons 97 excab f150 ,he wants 6" send me your thoughts.

I personally have never lifted a 2wd, but a friend lifted his, and he says that the Fabtech kit is the only way to go. Or if you really want to be special, buy him a plasma cutter, a mig, and a high pinion 44 out of a 78,79 bronco, and go to town!!! You'd be the first that I know of...
