I cant seem to find what steel the intermediate housings are for EB 3 speed to dana 20. Can someone please fill me in, I am trying to get an adapter made with my 435 end housing and need to know exact material to get a price for welding the 2 together.

I dont have a 6 cyl inter housing and i do have both regular inter housing and the tail housing off of the 435. I want to cut and make new!

Hey I have some 6cylinder 3speeds and dana 20's around and I like two hours from columbus , E-mail me or pm me if interested

even if you give me the housings i still would have to fork out the 250 for the adapter. I think i can have it welded together cheaper than that

Who's going to do the milling and fitting prior to the welding? If it doesn't work 100% the first time that adaper $$ will look a whole lot better than a new transmission and/or transfer case.

Not really sure what the material is. I do know that it's weldable. I know of two different adapter modifiers that are welding them. Do a spark test and you can find out if it's cast iron or cast steel of some sort. Steel would be better.
