Detroit Locker Bearing numbers
How ya' doing guys? I'm new to the forums on the site. I'm putting a 31 spline detroit locker in a WAR case that had a 28 spline carrier in it. I can't seem to find bearings for it. I know the WAR case isn't the best but it's what I have right now. So if any of you guys know what bearing number it is to make this happen I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Jim

Can anyone help? I bought this locker off of Ebay. It's in perfect condition but I can't seem to find bearings. It is definetly a 31 spline locker, I have counted many times now. All the bearings for a 31 spline locker have a 1.78" i.d. The locker where the bearing presses on is 2.0" o.d. I've searched Timken with every part number i know of for a 9" and the specs are all wrong. There is one bearing that Timken makes that has two of three correct dimensions, The dimension that is wrong is the bearing width. It is only .500". This can't be wide enough, Can it? I'd really appreciate any help to get my rig on the trail. Thanks.
