not shure where to get a d35 for a ranger and how much $ is it to do the swap?

I have a stock d28 on the front of a ranger and im tring to upgrade to a d35 from a newer ranger but im not sure where i can buy one for cheap? and how much will it cost to do the swap?

rrorc.com if youre cool or therangerstation.com if youre a fag.. You will need the axle & steering components from the newer truck & expect to pay anywhere from $150-$300. Your driveshaft will either be an inch short, or not.

Like loco said. Plus the nice thing is, it is a direct bolt in except for the driveshaft changes and steering linkage.

Beh, you can get a complete totalled explorer or one with a blown tranny for less than $500, you get an 8.8 with discs out of the deal too if your lucky.

look for an explorer with ttb, but a ttb explorer wont have rear disks that came on the later independant models.

So why just look for an Explorer with TTB...why not Rangers (with D35 TTB) too?

Get a first gen explorer (91-94) with a blown tranny for a few hundred and you got an engine tcase axles and steering.

Got my parts truck with a shitty tranny for less than a complete axle should cost..
