need to find a good place to buy a rebuilt zf tranny
any one in here know how to directly order a zf 5 speed for my 87 6.9l, or do i just have to go through a tranny company and be middlemanned.

Yeah, they generally bring $1000 or more. I had mine rebuilt for about $1500 and the same problem came back a few weeks after the warranty expired. If I ever decide to fix it again I'll buy the ebay version.
