Swapped Out
Can anybody tell me why ford mixes there parts.
Went to parts store to by a master cyl. for 78 bronco and master cyl. wouldn't match up. Finally matched one up that was listed for 77 E-Van 250. The prob. was that the ports were on the wrong side for the brake lines. Any input would be nice.

thanks for your input, but I was trying to figure out if someone else did it becuase a stock boosters stroke was also 2 1/2" shorter than the one that was on it also and that seemed like alot of work for a home mech. to do

If you haven't bought and installed a "correct" m/c and booster for your Bronco, you may wish to use a 1-ton m/c and booster setup. All you have to do is reroute the brake lines an install a larger flare nut and re-flare a brake line.
