Excursion+Hydrobost??? - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

Was thinking about this the other day and cant see why a Hydroboos system from a 250 or 350 could not be swapped into an excursion. Anybody see any problems with doing this? Not that is should matter but I have a 2003 Excursion.

Also if this should be in the tow rig forum let me know and I will move it.

I can't see any reason why not. People take them from anything that has hydroboost and put them on their early Bronco's.

Should be fine assuming the pump on the excursion is up to the task

From a SuperDuty 250 or 350? I would think so considering they pretty much the same truck, aint they?

Shouldn't be hard. Both of my diesel Excursions had hydroboost. Just get the parts for the diesel truck

If your 03 Excursion has the PSD engine you already have hydro boost brakes. I can't speak for the gassers.
