how much lift can you do with stock ttb brackets?

alright so I want to put some liftover leveling coils from my old bII and some factory ford coil spacers under my daily driver to give it a little boost. a guy at the local 4 wheel shop told me the max lift on those is about 3 inches, but he wasnt too sure cause he said hes never owned a rbv so it was a guess. I want to know what you guys feel is the most lift I can get out of my truck without buying lift brackets.

3" may be possible, but not real likely (will depend on what your current camber adjustment is)

2" is a safer amount that will generally allow realignment of the caster & camber.

2" and you will be lucky if you can still get it close to aligned even with the caster/camber adjustment bushings.

That is why rough country and other lift companies sell a set of 1.5-2" axle drop brackets

maybe I can get away with 2.5" I have quite abit of neg. camber on my truck. I have rough countrys 1.5 leveling coils and I wanna buy fords f150 coil spacers cause I have some chevy lowering shackles and exploder springs lying around. im trying to get about 3" of lift without going over 200 bucks and not having to tear apart the front to put on new brackets.

I have 2" coils on a ranger with stock non STX brackets and I just barely got it aligned with 3.5* offset bushings. Its still not perfect though and its wearing the outsides of the tires down faster I see. Some of that is from the welded rear end though.
