Two cat converter?
I have a 95 F150 4x4 with a 4.9 and it seems to have two cats back to back then a muffler, is this right? Or am I just losing my mind.
If im not losing my mind why are there two and should i leave it that way? Im getting ready to put a flowmaster on it and im going to get rid of anything that may be causing restiction. Thanks guys Jeremy |

Two cat converters are not uncommon. My California spec'd Toy Tundra has three cats. 49-state Tundras have two. As a result my Tundra is spec'd with 5 less hp than 49-state Tundras.

Not sure if its a resinator (sp) or not. Sure looks like a cat to me. Im just ganna pull both and replace with one good high flow converter, I figure that should do the job.
We don't have Echeck here so i don't think it will raise any issues. |

dont run a cat at all then, or just punch your current one out and save $100
