I'm getting a ticking/tapping noise coming from the passenger side of the vehicle that increases/decreases with RPM. Everything checks out as far as oil, belts, etc. I don't know shit about these motors but thought you guys might. Also, where's the best place on the net for 3.0L information? My wife's Taurus just hit 100,000 so I'm probably going to have to up my knowledge of the motor if I want to keep it on the road. Thanks

since you're talking about a fwd car and a tapping noise coming from the passenger side, i'd check the timing chain.
