Question Where to port steering box for hydraulic assist?

Wondering if anyone know exact location to port the steering box on 81 bronco for hydraulic assist? I've seen pictures but they are too vague to get an exact location. Any help is appreciated, as I must do all my own fabrication cuz wife holds all the money

It's a very good writeup. I just used it to tap the box in my '81.

If you are talking about the old "attempt" at power steering, with the manual box, hydro valve and ram, then I would advise against it. By all reports the steering setup was never much good, either on or off road. Not much assist and piss poor handleing attributes and feel. First hand account, the factory rams always leak, even if you spend the $300 on a rebuild kit for one...
